Positively Brie with Brie Jackson

Optimism paired with experience and hard work has taken Brie Jackson a long way.

Since playing her last Division I college basketball game at the University of Maryland, Jackson left her hoop dreams behind to pursue a journalism career.

It was that path in journalism that prepared her for her current role as White House correspondent for Nexstar Media.

In this episode, Jackson and host Earl Holland discuss how Jackson became interested in journalism and her career progression to becoming a White House correspondent.

Brie will also talk about what it’s like covering the goings-on at the White House and how, in the age of “Fake News,” journalists must be more careful in presenting the news.

Jackson also recalls her time playing college basketball for the Terps as well as how she found a new passion for running.
