Pens and Words with Diamond Holton

Writing has always come naturally to Diamond Holton.

A love for writing poetry blossomed into interest and passion for sports writing, including her current role as a contributor for the SB Nation blog, “Bullets Forever,” which covers the Washington Wizards and Washington Mystics.

In this episode, Holton talks with host Earl Holland about several topics, including attending her first live sporting event, her chance meeting with one of her writing and journalistic inspirations, Jemele Hill, and how the Washington, D.C. native became a fan of the New England Patriots.

She’ll also discuss her dream sports writing job, and the impact Venus and Serena Williams had on the sport of tennis, and whether Serena Williams or Tiger Woods is the most dominant individual athletes in the 21st Century.
