In the Stars with Meredith Esguerra
In the heat of competition, some performers rise to the challenge, while others wilt under the spotlight.
During her time playing in the Honda Campus All-Star Challenge, Meredith Esguerra had a killer mentality and competitive fire hidden under her demure appearance.
For Esguerra, how she came to be a part of the team as well as what led her to the University of Maryland Eastern Shore felt like it was fate.
In this episode, Esguerra, a California native, shares with host Earl Holland, why she came to the East Coast school and what it was like attending an HBCU.
Esguerra recalls her time participating in HCASC, how she prepared for its competitive aspect. In addition to that, she'll talk about how, following her days playing HCASC, she tried to fill the void for trivia and competition.
Meredith also discusses how an interest in astrology led to a new outlook on life.
