Being the Elite with Malika Yates

When it comes to describing Malika Yates, the best word that personifies her is “inspirational.”

Yates has accomplished much in her life, including landing acting spots in movies, voice acting gigs, and opportunities to become a professional cheerleader.

What’s even more inspirational is her recovery from a traumatic brain injury and cognitive concussion, which she sustained more than two years ago that has dramatically altered her life.

In this episode, Yates discusses her background in cheerleading and dancing with host Earl Holland in addition to her recovery.

Yates will also discuss how her lifelong interest in the environment led to her role as Elite Miss Delaware Earth, being on the pageant circuit, and much more.
